Ingredients
2 Heinen's Fan Favorite Gourmet BBQ Cheddar Burgers
Heinen's American Cheese Singles
Heinen's Thick Cut Hickory Bacon
Pineapple slices (thin)
Two Brothers BBQ Sauce (for serving)
Two Brothers Teriyaki Sauce (for marinating)
King's Hawaiian Sweet Hamburger Buns
Lettuce
Olive oil
Directions
  1. Bake the bacon first at 400F for 15-20 minutes depending on thickness. I bake the strips on a rack within a tray so that it’s not sitting in it’s own grease getting soft. When done, I baste lightly with BBQ sauce and salt and pepper them lightly.
  2. Cut bacon into thick 3inch pieces for the burgers later.
  3. Slice cored pineapple and set aside.
  4. Prepare a skillet on medium-high heat to get it hot, then add a splash of olive oil and cook burgers to your liking. We just don’t when them to stick if the pan isn’t hot enough!
  5. Lower the temperature once it’s cooked on the first side (for a minute).
  6. These burgers will cook fast and burn if left on high. When it’s about ready, place cheese slices on top to melt.
  7. Once patties are cooked to your liking, assemble burgers in the following order: bottom bun, lettuce, patty with cheese, a splash of BBQ sauce, pineapple, bacon, and top bun.
